
Kevin J. Cole, Esq. - Founding Partner
Kevin Cole is the Founding and Managing Partner of KJC Law Group, A.P.C. He has first-chaired over fifty jury and bench trials in state and federal courts throughout the country, involving a wide variety of complex legal issues with more than $100 million at stake.
Mr. Cole is also a former law clerk for Judge Eric L. Clay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit—and he has so far prevailed in every appellate court proceeding he has pursued on behalf of an appellant (which includes TruConnect Communications v. Maximus, et al., Cal. Ct. App., 1st Dist. Case No. A163562; Dr. V Productions, Inc. v. Samantha Rey, Cal. Ct. App., 2nd Dist. Case No. B312605; Stein v. Black Diamond Supplements, LLC, Cal. Ct. App., 2nd Dist. Case No. B308482; and Morones v. Vega (In re Estate of Vega), Cal. Ct. App., 2nd Dist. Case No. B287748).
Chen Wang, Esq. - Partner
Chen Wang is a Partner at KJC Law Group. Chen assists in all areas of practice, with a particular focus on complex civil litigation, federal criminal trials, and consumer protection & toxic torts.
Ms. Wang brings a diverse and sophisticated background, having practiced international law at the Shanghai, China office of one of the world’s largest law firms (Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP), and later, at a boutique corporate law firm where she advised corporate clients on sophisticated commercial and financial issues. Earlier in her career, Ms. Wang clerked for a trial judge on one of Shanghai’s busiest commercial courts and worked at the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Jeremy Friedman - Counsel
Jeremy Friedman is Of Counsel at KJC Law Group, where he specializes in business litigation and appeals. His extensive legal experience includes achieving successful outcomes in civil litigation for plaintiffs and defendants, in business and real estate disputes, intellectual property cases, and other matters; real estate and business transactions; and criminal defense.
He is a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School and served as a federal appellate law clerk.
His civil litigation experience spans diverse areas of law, including contracts, real estate, corporate governance, trademark and copyright infringement, negligence and other torts, construction defects, civil rights violations, and other types of claims, in federal and state courts.
Blair Castle - Senior Associate
Blair Castle is an associate at KJC Law Group, where he focuses on complex civil litigation and trial practice. Blair has a broad range of litigation experience, including in the areas of consumer finance, constitutional and civil rights claims, business disputes, and real property disputes. Blair graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and is licensed in all Florida state and federal courts. Blair currently is pending admission into the California state bar.
Calvin F. Love - Counsel
Calvin Love is Of Counsel at KJC Law Group, where he focuses on business litigation and trial law, with an emphasis on labor and employment litigation.
Calvin has a broad range of complex litigation experience, including in the areas of business litigation, consumer and regulatory claims (i.e., TCPA, FDCPA, and consumer fraud), partnership disputes, fiduciary duties, contractual disputes, fraud, unfair competition, business torts, trade secrets, and defamation. His practice also encompasses labor and employment disputes, including wage & hour violations, misclassification cases, discrimination and harassment allegations, as well as wrongful termination and whistleblower complaints.
Chris Ramos - Counsel
Christopher Ramos is Of Counsel at KJC Law Group, where he specializes in business litigation and trial law. Chris is also a tech entrepreneur, serving as counsel to an enterprise SaaS company that was recently awarded LegalTech Startup of the Year.
Before joining KJC Law Group, Chris was a trial lawyer and litigator at three of the world’s biggest law firms. At each of those firms, Chris represented individuals and companies in complex commercial litigation, including consumer class actions. Chris’ reputation as both defense and plaintiff counsel for high-stakes claims allows him to serve not only as a formidable advocate in litigation, but also as an effective negotiator against the types of companies he used to represent.
Zachary Stein - Case Manager
Zachary Stein is a Case Manager at KJC Law Group, where he specializes in Personal Injury cases to effectively advocate for clients. In his daily role, he manages client communications, coordinates medical record collection, tracks case deadlines, and works closely with attorneys to prepare settlement demands and litigation documentation. His academic background in English enhances his ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly and persuasively.
Drawing from his background as a stand-up comedian, Zachary brings a unique ability to diffuse tense situations and communicate complex legal matters with clarity and approachability, helping clients navigate challenging circumstances with greater ease.
Xiao Chen - Marketing Strategist
Xiao Chen is a Marketing Strategist at KJC Law Group, where she combines creative media expertise with analytical thinking to establish and enhance the firm's business image. In her role, she manages comprehensive marketing campaigns and online presence, creates multimedia content, and leverages marketing metrics to optimize brand engagement and channel growth.
Prior to joining KJC Law Group, she served as a Channel Strategy Intern at Studio71 in Beverly Hills, where she developed data-driven SEO strategies and optimized content performance for major clients including Genesis, Disney Princesses, Pixar Cars, and popular podcasts like Sibling Rivalry and Bold and Beautiful.
Daniel Novikov - Legal Assistant & Translation Intern
Daniel Novikov is a Legal Assistant & Translation Intern at KJC Law Group, where he combines business acumen with diverse linguistic and cultural expertise. In his role, he facilitates cross-border legal communications, translates critical documents between English and Chinese, and assists attorneys with case preparation and legal research.
