We are skilled in business dispute litigation. We have represented an array of national and multinational corporations in complex commercial disputes throughout the country. Examples of our recent work include:
March 2025: obtained judgment for nearly $1 million on behalf of a food holding company against its former CEO, on breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and Penal Code § 496 causes of action (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
January 2025: recovered over $2.7 million in seized funds in forfeiture proceedings against the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Missouri (U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri).
December 2024: obtained $1 million catastrophic injury settlement (confidential).
December 2024: obtained dismissal on demurrer without leave to amend for data and technology company in lawsuit alleging breach of contract and fraud (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
November 2024: negotiated favorable settlement on behalf of multiple defendants in qui tam California False Claims Act suit brought by State Farm Insurance and numerous other insurers in complex first-impression lawsuit (Orange County Superior Court).
September 2024: obtained summary judgment for consulting firm in highly publicized lawsuit alleging sexual battery and emotional distress claims (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
August 2024: prevailed in restraining order proceeding involving rights to celebrity-involved social media accounts (San Luis Obispo County Superior Court).
July 2024: obtained favorable six-figure settlement for global defense contracting firm in legal malpractice action (U.S. District Court for the Central District of California).
June 2024: obtained favorable settlement for skin care company in fraud and overbilling lawsuit (San Francisco County Superior Court).
January 2024: obtained $500,000 settlement in litigation over a catastrophic injury at a Los Angeles-based shopping mall (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
December 2023: obtained six-figure settlement for global welding company in breach of contract dispute against international conglomerate (confidential).
March 2023: obtained civil judgment under California Penal Code section 496 for treble damages and attorneys’ fees against company that induced a fraudulent sale of a vessel (Orange County Superior Court).
January 2023: obtained more than $300,000 settlement for aggrieved employee in wrongful termination case (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
June 2022: on the eve of trial, obtained high six-figure settlement on behalf of minority shareholder in intensely-fought derivative claims litigation (Los Angeles County Superior Court).
June 2022: obtained summary judgment for California-based telecommunications company in federal qui tam employment case (U.S. District Court for the Central District of California).
