We have extensive experience representing both individuals and businesses in class actions throughout the nation.  We handle class action matters related to consumer fraud, consumer financial services, employment classifications, and business enterprise defendants, among others.  We guide our clients through every phase of the class action litigation process, including litigating class certification, conducting class and merits discovery, litigating class merits issues, negotiating settlements, and navigating the court approval and notice process.

Examples of our recent work include:

  • August 2024: defeated bid to dismiss proposed class action lawsuit brought under California’s Automatic Renewal Law (U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California).

  • March 2024: obtained complete dismissal for tax advisory company in putative TCPA class action (U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado).

  • January 2024: obtained dismissal without leave to amend in a deceptive pricing class action alleging mislabeling of THC potency (Santa Clara County Superior Court).

  • September 2023: $1.8 million classwide settlement on behalf of 122 FBI Supervisory Investigative Specialists (U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.).

  • August 2023: settled a putative TCPA class action after intensely-fought litigation.  Secured favorable nuisance settlement on individual basis (U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida).

  • August 2023: obtained dismissal in putative TCPA class action (U.S. District Court for the Central District of California).

  • December 2022: settled a putative TCPA class action after intensely-fought litigation.  Secured favorable settlement on individual basis (U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois).

  • June 2022: obtained $15 million classwide settlement, as plaintiff’s counsel, in TCPA class action (U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida).

  • July 2021: defeated class certification for a company accused of violating the federal RICO statute (18 U.S.C. §§ 1961–1968) in the highly publicized Outlaw Laboratory litigation (U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California).

  • Obtained decertification in putative nationwide class action against a major telecommunications company accused of charging excessive interstate rates and fees.

  • Obtained dismissal of numerous TCPA class actions against educational loan management company.

  • Defended medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer in several single plaintiff and mass tort product liability actions throughout the nation.
